Our History
After many years of experience, founder Edwin Dziuk, along with his brother Clarence, decided to make their own mark in the industry. In 1968, they opened their first meat market in Poth, Texas. The brothers whose parents were from Poland featured their famous Polish sausage, which proved to be very popular. Later in 1970, the third brother Joe Dziuk joined the family business.
Expansion
On June 1, 1975, Edwin's son Marvin Dziuk extended the family business by opening another market in Castroville, TX. The rest is history. For over 30 years now, Dziuk's Meat Market has been proudly serving customers their quality fresh cuts and famous dried meats. For many, it's customary to stop in and pick something up on their way home or to the hunting lease.
In 2023, Dziuk’s opened Dziuk’s Processing Plant in Lacoste, TX. There you can get all of your game processed as well as Custom processing of beef and pork.
